چکیده
Abstract. Shock loads are very high amplitude and short duration transient loads. They produced in space structures by pyrotechnic devices placed the launchers initiating stage or fairing separations. While spacecraft structure is not susceptible to this range of frequencies, electrical units could be seriously damaged during launch phase. tests performed on verify if they withstand loads, thus their compliance requirements. To understand how input force evolves from launcher-spacecraft interface equipment interest, a model dynamical behaviour at frequencies has developed. An initial approach constitutes implementation mathematical through use Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA). The results 4 degrees freedom using SEA will shown. can further developed integration data-driven techniques. In work description two different approaches presented, that include model-based methods. Finally, cross-cutting potential solution briefly introduced; it combine experimental data with as convey them training database an Artificial Neural Network algorithm. hybrid possibly turn out reliable efficient way break down time costs shock test campaign.

Andrews Abstract A new approach for the control of a spacecraft with large angle maneuvers is presented. This new approach is based on a nonlinear predictive control scheme which determines the required torque input so that the predicted responses match the desired trajectories. This is ac...
متن کاملModel Predictive Control for Formation Flying Spacecraft
Formation flying is an enabling technology for many future space missions. This thesis addresses some of the key dynamics and control issues expected in future missions by pursuing two areas of advancement: extensions of relative linear dynamics models and assessment and mitigation of sensor noise effects on control systems. Relative dynamics models play an important role in finding drift-free ...
متن کاملInteractive Sharable Environment for Collaborative Spacecraft Design
An advanced integrated environment is being developed at JPL that links collaborators who wish to perform interactive design analyses and/or mission simulations. The environment utilizes commercial technology (such as 3D visualization) where applicable, but key pieces are currently provided by soflware developed in-house for mission and spacecraft modeling. It allows a mission scenario to be bu...
